Default almost ready to take it off the quilting frame

I have been working on a quilt for...well, I am not going to say. It is
rolled uo on a quilting frame, so I am not even sure of the dimnensions, one
of them (the one I can measure) is 90". I think the other dimesion is
longer by 1 to 2 feet, but I am not quite sure about this. It is almost
ready to be taken down and finished.

Pictures are at http://photos.yahoo.com/v_1brchr, miniframe1 and frameman.
It is a simple fence rail (the piecing was a whole lot faster than the
quilting has been. The little paper man is the pattern I have been using to
quilt the "inner squares." The "outer squares" I have been quilting simply
1/4" (approximately) from the seams (please don't magnify the pictures and
inspect my hand quiting too closely, please).

The two strips I have for the outer framing (sashing?) I am either going to
quilt in the ditch or machine stipple. I certainly am not going to hand
quilt the outside. The binding is going to be dark green and the kind that
you get prepackaged in the store, several packages, I suspect. I know how to
make bias binding, but I am just not going to in this case.

portion of the old pueblo, I suppose)

I like it! Those are neat colors you used. The quilting stitches look nice
and even, but the most important question is, are you having fun?

Thanks for sharing, Brian.
I really like the teal/terracotta colour mix.

Do we detect a little bit of burn-out? Courage, Brian!
I really like the little man quilting design (working out how this might be
done continuous-line on the machine :-) This will be a wonderful quilt.
Binding doesn't have to be bias! For rectangular pieces, I normally use
straight-grain binding. The store stuff is always too narrow -but of course
we aren't shopping in the same stores!
Looking forward to the finished view!

And it's a very pretty area, too!
