BushBaby is now talking about sending humans to Mars. (Hmmmm, NASA
headquarters is in Texas, he's from Texas...)

And if were __________( pick your favorite Democrat) making the suggestion.
LOL

Well, if it were a Democrat from Texas, I'd be a lot more suspicious of their
motives than if it were a Democrat from New Hampshire.

Hey! all the Dems in NH are not native, they moved here in the last 10
years! LOL

Pork is pork, no matter who's behind it.

Funny thing, I support any NASA funding 100%, but that is in part my
interest in the space program and in part my belief that pure science is
always worth doing; you never know quite what you might find.

Of course, we could look at this another way: since a jobless recovery isn't
going to help at election time, he's going to create a few thousand
good-paying
jobs in the space program so he can point to job creation success.

Actually, that's more like a few million jobs and not just in Texas.
Manufacturers from the basic materials (metals, ceramics, plastics), up
through the computers and specialized systems. And housing and food
industries get in the act too.

And that's not LOL, that's soooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I am Sam
Sam I am
I do not like
Green Eggs and Pork
I do not like them in the House
I do not like them in the Senate
If they're in a bill
I'll vote agin' it
I will not vote for them with a fork
I will not vote for Green Eggs and Pork

Hey - there are other things that I'd rather see cut then the space and pure
science programs - like the Lawrence Whelk museum that got federal funding.
Or some of the performance artists getting thousands of dollars to explore
spreading feces on themselves. Or Foreign Aid or your other favorite pet
peeve.

According to Space Mountain at Walt Disney World, I think that FedEx can
send anything anywhere ha ha ha ha

Ummmmmmmmm, has FedEx added a route to Mars already? =)

That is an interesting thought - "who" will be the first "commercial" space
concern - be it for "tourism" or deliveries to the space station, the moon
and Mars. My bets are on Disney and UPS!

I thought I saw something on blogspot just before the holidays about
audioblogging...

Oh, and I'll need some books to break it up a bit, I'll need blank
journal books so I can blog to hardcopy - somehow I don't think I'd be
able to access blogspot from space.... and I'll need lots of audio
entertainment as well. =)

Don't forget the next Coke vs. Pepsi war...
M&Ms are the official candy for almost everything so I suppose they
would have two new colors for lunar and martian rocks. Of course the
Mars candy bar surreptitiously disappeared from the shelves in this
country (replaced by Snickers Almond) so maybe they will bring that back.

"SGC" had some very interesting things to
say about Trip to Mars:

According to Space Mountain at Walt Disney World, I think that FedEx can
send anything anywhere ha ha ha ha

Whether it arrives at destination in good condition is another
question. ;-) [Just kidding, since I work for UPS tech support :-)]

As far as I can tell they are the same product. I suppose Mars wasn't
selling well enough so they put the Snickers brand name on the product
to boost sales. Not that I've ever seen any ads for them either way...

Are the Snicker Almond any good? I miss Mars Bars - which have been missing
