How can I tell if a post has been cross-posted. I don't ssee any differences
between those that have been identified as cross-postings and those that are just posted here. Also, how (on the Always Off-Key League LOL) can I undo the cross-posting if i want to reply to something but have it go only to this group?? kathy san antonio |

Well certainly - go ahead - they need a little excitement over on 'the
other' group anyway. :-) Sharon (N.B.) .................................................. ........................... ....... In AOL, you needn't worry about inadvertently cross-posting your replies; AOL won't let you post to more than one NG at a time. Not even if you want to do it on purpose -- you have to send to each NG individually. You know, for years, I've heard usenet ancients complain about AOL and how it turned a bunch of unsavvy readers loose on usenet without proper preparation. It's good to hear that the software prevents crossposting. That's a good thing! I used to suffer our son practicing trumpet, and one day I was thinking "Funny - he`s made the same mistake in that piece six times now!" I sneaked upstairs and found that he was reading his comics, having recorded the first practice - and was just hitting the rewind and play buttons! LOL! It didn`t do much harm, as he became a Royal Marines musician (French Horn) and an instructor at the Royal Marines School of Music. Pat P |

I just posted some finishing techniques on my stitching site. One of the
techniques is for a bookmark with a frayed edge. Sincerely, Anita -- Anita's Tried & True Low Fat Recipes http://www.anitasrecipes.com CyberStitchers.com Cross Stitch Galleries http://www.cyberstitchers.com |
