Judy:
The CNY-VA stitcher is way in land and up in the hills, away from
the path of the H-word. Alas, Roberta and I are both just across
the river from your DD in Portsmouth. I hope we are ALL spared.
Now remember, if you come to visit your DD, I hope we can arrange
a meet up!!

Saw on the news this morning that Wilma was now a CAT 5 storm -- could
possibly cross Florida and then head up north, sneaking along the coast all
the way to southern New England! Hope you're far enough inland down there
in VA. (My daughter lives in Portsmouth and has had to evacuate "just in
case" once before.)
ENOUGH HURRICANES (Yes, that's me screaming loudly!!!!)

yeah, and my parents are prepared to lose their house in this one, which
means that the will probably be with us sonner than anyone had planned. NO
big thing. I told Dad today that if it is headed their way, load up what
they can and head north...we'll start working on emtpying the room and
reorganizing things..he said he'd keep that in mind... I just don't want
them to have to ride this out and then have nowhere to go

You have my deepest sympathies and humble prayers....

Can't wait for this season to be over. I don't know if I have the energy to
run again, so soon... I know my homebound mil doesn't. She still hasn't
recovered from evacuating Rita.

I'm wishing it will just stay in the water and go around all the land.

Well folks, Polly and I might have to pack up and run again. If the
high over us does not hold we might get hit with another storm. Pray
with us that this thing just falls apart and dies in the Gulf so no one
else get hurt.

I kept watching the news/weather all day.... they still aren't sure of what
track it will take. Will be saying prayers and thinking safe thoughts for
all of you that live in Wilma's path (wherever she goes.)
ME-Judy
who will let ya know when we go south to VA again.

Pat and ROberta...if you need to head west, we have 2 full/queen size
sleeper sofas that you can crash on (Mom2 and Dad might be here in the
next few days depending on what happens), but you are more than welcome
if you need it!

I keep thinking of you all, and trying to get some details of its path;
but each time I go to CNN at the moment, they seem to have a 'special'
on something else. Grrrr! Our BBC weather people did promise us some
specific news about it today. It's frustrating, but that keeps me
focused! So, at least you know I'm thinking about you g.

Have you tried Fox (on Sky 531) - they don't seem to go off into
specials quite as much, though they do have irritating World Weather
at very frequent intervals (presume where the US adverts are).

Well that would be fun But...I am not sure 2 sleeper sofa's would be
enough for my crazy family lol. There are 5 of us (me, my hubby, my mom
and my 2 kids-five and three) Thanks for the offer - it's nice to know
people care!

Well hell....I have a 5yo and a 2yo...so the kids can bunk with them.
DId I mention the futon (which is IN the sewing room??), you and hubby
could have one sofa bed and mom could have the futon or the other sofa
bed - Mom2 and Dad have decided to wait and see what happens. They also
figure that if they have to runk, it means they won't have anything to
come back to, so, as they said, they'd be happy with a space heater in
the garage...lol...just remember the offer is open if you need it.
