Australia, I've always wanted to go there. Could you use and import,
namely me. Could I bring my Hinterberg machine quilting frame with me?
It's packed and ready to go.

Yup you betcha! I've just been hanging to try machine quilting and could do
with a good teacher.

Maybe they'd like to come to Texas?

No stash raiding, but we'll open our arms if need be.

Reminds me, I ought to order caps for work before I can't... We need 2 more
by the 21st of November and they come from Fort Pierce.

Hey I come to Texas a couple times a year to the hospital in Houston.
Had to re-schedule because I couldn't get a motel room.

As for a stash raid I'm up for that any day. You got to have
Pepperidge Farm Orange Milano and Mint Milano cookies for nourishment
because I will working hard at raiding.
Thanks for the invite. Hey Polly..... RAID!!!!!! Got any Folgers
coffee to take along.

Seriously, Thanks for the invite. We could all attend the quilt show
in Houston to get out minds off hurricanes.

I'll be moving to East Texas soon enough. We now have friends in Galveston
(Thanks to Katrina) so I'm sure I'll have no excuse NOT to go. That is,
until they move again. I think they were talking about eventually settling
in Dallas. Still, I'll be closer to the action, not all the way in the
middle of a sandbox.

Hey Kellie

I've changed my appointments to January. Don't know what days exactly,
I haven't gotten my schedule yet. I won't name the hospital but it's
the one that takes up both sides of Holcomb Blvd. Until all these
hurricanes, I could get my appointments set up for the last week of
October or the first week of November so I could attend the
International Quilt show. One of my doctors is an avid quilter too.
Are the quilt shops still open in Spring Texas. I think it's Spring,
anyway. All those little shops and the tea shop. I wondered around
the area all day a few years ago. Just loved wondering around the
quilt shops and then settling in for a warm cup of tea before battling
all the traffic.

Our cousins are visiting Ft Myers beach area until the end of November.
We've been watching the track, because if it heads a bit north of the
projection, it will go over our place in Zephyrhills. We'll continue to
pack and hope for the best. We'll know in a few days. Hopefully it will
drop a category or two before landfall!

Hi Kate, The latest projection was that she would turn north east and

head
toward South Florida. Fingers crossed for all. Linda

Saw on the news this morning that Wilma was now a CAT 5 storm -- could
possibly cross Florida and then head up north, sneaking along the coast all
the way to southern New England! Hope you're far enough inland down there
in VA. (My daughter lives in Portsmouth and has had to evacuate "just in
case" once before.)
ENOUGH HURRICANES (Yes, that's me screaming loudly!!!!)

yeah, and my parents are prepared to lose their house in this one, which
means that the will probably be with us sonner than anyone had planned. NO
big thing. I told Dad today that if it is headed their way, load up what
they can and head north...we'll start working on emtpying the room and
reorganizing things..he said he'd keep that in mind... I just don't want
them to have to ride this out and then have nowhere to go
