Default Quilting machine comparison please help!

Okay. Think I am on my final run and I need some asssistance here.
Posting to everyone I can think off

quilt expression 2044. Dual voltage, gazillion stitches (180) ithink
(you all probably know more than i do). Come is quilting table,
qilting food, straight needle plate, free motion foot (and so on and
so forth) This machien is $770.00 for me

Quilt expression 2046. Also dual voltage. The big difference i see
is the eleven antique quilt stitches. This machine for me will be
$1100.00

Now, I have been quilting for barely two years. Will use new machine
for piecing, applique, and quilting. Will not use said machine (at
least any time in near future or far) to do embroidery, crafts
embellishing, monograming and so on. Said machine might get used for
a few home decor items, but no clothing (I may keep old brother as
well)

So. Realizing that I am on a budget and that I could buy fabric,go
skiing , whatever. Is it really worth the extra three hundred
bucks??? And if it is, is my husband really liable to believe me?

Thanks

Barb

Main question you must ask yourself. When you move--are you going to KEEP
the machine or not? IF you are going to keep it--then go for the higher end
one (2046). The price you quoted is about 500.00 less than the same machine
here. I've pretty much decided on the 2046-- as I expect to keep it for at
least a good 15 years of serious usage.

Don't need the embroidery , but I like the 'dial' on the side because of my
hand problems..
