Default Checking back in

I just realized I haven't even read the newsgroup for almost two months!
It's good to be back.

In the meanwhile I have made three flowergirl dresses, married off my DD3,
put on the most wonderful wedding ever (according to reviews from attendees)
and finally gotten our planned retirement house-cum-boathouse to the
excavation stage.

For those who groove on weddings and want to see the fabulous dress made for
her by her sister's seamstress in Seattle, go to:

We had so much fun! Andrew's parents came over from Co. Kerry, his uncle
Fr. Sean O. also came to do the honors. Thirteen of Andrew's friends ("the
lads") came over, too. Eilis had her friends from college and high school.
Even the staff at the hotel commented on how happy everyone was and what a
good time they were all having. Aside from how lovely Eilis looks in her
dress, one of my favorite pictures is of Andrew dancing with his mother--you
can see that they really have a deep affection for each other.

Now I can get back to quilting the DWR for DD1's 10th anniversary (which was
last year! And catch up on the newsgroup news.

Been a little busy, have you? Glad to see you back and to hear
everything went so well. I shall go have a look at the pix as soon as I
can.

Nice to see you again, Betty; and to see that you haven't exactly been
idling the time away g So glad all went well for the happy couple.
