Default Q. for Abrasha & other SF/bay-area artists...

I'll be visiting the SF / bay area in a couple of weeks and would like
to check out the metal art scene (if there is one). Any suggestions as
to galleries, museums, or other venues that would be worth checking
out. I'm especially interested in forged and/or fabricated sculpture
and crafts, with a secondary interest in jewelry.

Thanks.
Bert

Well,

Whaddayasay?!?

In today's San Francisco Chronicle:

"Melding Iron Age skill, modern artistry
Blacksmith Eric Clausen's intricate metalwork is in high demand"

Looks like he does nice work, though it appears from his web site that
he does architectural work exclusively (no sculpture). BTW, thanks for
the links in your other reply. At least I'll have a couple of places
to check out. Have you by any chance checked out the DeYoung museum
since it re-opened? Is it worth a visit?
