I'll check it out... I've found that now that everyone uses it, it's
basically just a hidden proxy bidder; everyone just plugs in their
highest bid, and eBay tallies them all up at the end, so the results
come out the same. My highest bid still wouldn't have outbid the person
who won, since they set their proxy bid above mine.


True to a certain extent. But if you start the proxy bid war early, you drive
the price way up.

Which is good for me......however, I certainly advocate esnipe! Love it.
It really does help keep the bidding wars at bay. Especially since
Kalera has been outbid again. evil grin

True, if egos get involved. I have seen that happen... people get really
wrapped up in "winning", so they keep going back and setting their
proxies higher.
