Christina's Accident was Christina in OK's HUG
Oh Christina --
What an ordeal you have been through. Hope you continue to heal quickly and completely. Ouch!! Love in Stitches, Coleen "Christina in OK" noworkingemail wrote in message s.com... ahh, will guess I don't need to answer Judy's post tomorrow... Merry took it from my letter.. just want' looking at the subject lines.. and wish I didn't. Yucky summer it has been for sure.. hurts to think about it.. Ok off my soap box.. and moving on "MerryStahel" wrote in message ... Christina's own words: "Me and My Dh was building an ad-on to the carport/garage port so we could place the boat in it, DH was on the top of the roof, and needed wood, as I am scared of heights and scared just to watch someone high up, I swallowed my pride and up I went. Only to fall somehow the 2x4 fell also, and as it fell I also fell on the board sideways, the board hit me just under my belly, taking a kidney with it, damaging my gut, bladder, and scraping my spine. How on earth I ever made it 25 miles to the hospital I will never know. But made it we did, then air lifted to Dallas. Since coming home, I have had many set back, mostly to do with infections, and later on to do with my remaining kidney. I am now well on the road to recovery, I have good days and bad days, the bad days have to do with my back."
