Default OT Pilates class- just about killed me!

It is the day after the class and I can just about move my upper body. I
really enjoyed the class and plan to go back. I guess I am a glutton for
punishment. I figure once I get over the initial aches, it will benefit me.
As long as I can still make it to the computer and sewing room I will
persevere. Lost 1 pound last week. Only 9 more to go.

Linda,

I LOVE pilates. I have been going to classes for a little over a year now. I
remember the initial aches and I had been working out with weight machines
in a gym and doing sit-ups for almost a year before I started the class. I
couldn't believe how sore I was after the first class.

I hope you stick with it.

Oh, and a little more on topic, I checked out your link, you have some
beautiful quilts! I particularly like the WIP Mother-in-law feathered star.
GORGEOUS!!

Tricia

That Pilates is deceptive -- you think "oh, this is easy! It's just
stretching!" Then your body tells you how much you *really* worked.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the encouragement. I didn;t know these muscles actually did
anything. I,too, have worked with weights. Will stick with it, it was a
fun atmosphere.

I am glad you liked my quilts. I am going to pick the MIL and Bright ONe up
from the baster today. Then I have to quilt them. More photos when they
were done.

Nothing like dropping the ball alot to make you feel silly. I wasn't the
only one that got hit in the head by a runaway ball! :-)
