*LOL* Too funny. We have our retreats at the Harrison Hot Springs Hotel and
we have been given a curfew by them if we want to continue to stay there.
There are too many quilters running up and down the hallways at all times of
the night making too much noise (giggling and being silly mostly). Our
sewing area is open 24 hours.

I guess this town is very lucky if this is the biggest, badest issue they
have to deal with, Roque, Rowdy, Quilters! Life is just too short and for
some people a little power certainly went to their heads. Linda In Plano

That is too much! Sometimes you just gotta' shake your head and say,
"Huh???"

On the other hand, if they've heard about some of the meet-ups in Houston
and other places, maybe they have a right to be concerned! The more I think
about it, I think I'd look at it as a compliment to be considered
potentially "rowdy" at my age!

That is just too weird. To think that quilters could cause such a
ruckus...hmmmmph. How dare that zoning board look down their noses on us. I
think we should just all pile in on them and show them what we are all about
since they obviously have no clue. We can raid their chocolates since they
obviously have no fabric stash to raid. If they did they would have granted
that request without question. :-)

Oh good grief! How ridiculous is their reasoning??? Don't they realize
that we're really easy to control with ample supplies of wine and
chocolate?

This is even funnier knowing the history of Butte and the mining days.

))))))
What say we send a lot of email letters to the reporter and newspaper,
and let them know we would all like to come to the retreat house! and
ask if we can bring a chartered bus in to haul our machines/stash/us.
That's only one vehicle to worry about then )))
