Hi -georg,
Nice to meet you.
He comes home about once a month and we go down about that often.
I love the scenery down there. Very nice,
Susie

That's quite the commute! That would take me 45 minutes each way.
I live 30 minutes south of your son.

ROFLMAO!!! I'm going to have to pass that on to one of my math-challenged
attorney friends who I'll see tonight at my guild's Preview Party.

Yup! She literally looked around and finally chose a profession that would
make her a nice living and the only criteria she used was: She didn't have
to take a math class! More than anything, she would have loved to have been
a Psychiatrist. But you have to be a Doctor first and (1) She hates sick
people and (2) LOTS of math required.

Name: Debi, also answer to (from my dad) Buzzard, Monkey

Home: Live in Starke (yep the one with the prison) work in Gainesville
(University of FL town)

Occupation: veterinary radiology technician

Age: 38

Family: Never married, but with DBF of 2+ years. Mom, Dad (only child, they
sure knew when to stop!)

Food: The list of things I won't eat is a lot shorter, i.e. sauerkraught,
beets, a few more that fail to come to mind (shudder)

QIs: Two cats, Sophie and Jamie (after James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie
Fraser) and two dogs, Grizz (9 yo GSD) and Angus, 2 yo collie shep mix,
affectionately known as Grits and Anus.

Machine: A Huskystar I received from my mom for my birthday a year or so
ago.

Quilting: Made one for a baby shower almost ten years ago, resumed when I
got the sewing machine.

Quilt Assembly: Whatever is easiest to get away with, but I really like
paper foundation piecing. Lets me get all those angles and points right
without ripping out too much hair.

Style Preference: I like most everything I see; traditional, art quilts,
stained glass, you name it...

Color Preference: Blues, greens, purples, not a big fan of orange, though it
can have its place.

Skill Level: Is there a level below Beginner?

Post/read frequency: I read/skim every day, post almost never. Everyone else
seems to say it better and have more experience anyway...

Interests: Writing, animals, photography, gardening, music, soapmaking, the
list goes on

TV: Gilmore Girls, Smallville, Antiques Roadshow, that's about it. I will
put on Discovery and see if they have anything interesting.

Drive: 2002 Cavalier

Okay, now, somewhere our paths have had to cross!! I was born and
raised in the Baltimore area!! and you know that I currently live in
Liverpool, and will possibly be moving to Charlottesville....too strange
for mere coincidence.

Oh yeah, I haven't told the group until now that I might be
moving.....hoping to get to at least one meet up before that happens!

I think you might want to start posting more often. If having knowlege to
share and a better way of saying this is a requisite then I better fold up
the tent and go home! lol
you have a fun way of writing. I hope we get to see more of it.
And.. a level below beginner?? I dont think so.. have you cut material?
Sewn it together? Ever looked at a quilt? Then youre doing well... )
