OT - Just checking in
Just checking in... and... dialup sucks!
Phone service is flaky at best... but I've contacted all my bits and pieces of family and friends and everyone has made it to wherever they were going. We are in Leesville La (nr Ft. Polk) but this may not be far enough and tomorrow may bring another long drive. It took us 4 hrs to drive a usual hour and a half today. Others had it worse but we knew the backroads!  Take care all... will ck in tomorrow if phone service is still good Hugs to all and thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers for everyone 'down here'! -- Polly -- don't spook my groove... --
