Do you have a "hopping" type foot? I'd put that on and then lower or cover
your feed dogs.

I don't have your exact model but I think these suggestions will work
on yours, as it looks similar to mine.
The take up lever should be in the mezzanine level (halfway between up
and down). I have a clear foot with a large opening which I use for
free motion work, you could also use your darning foot. Sometimes I
drop my feed dogs, try and see if that works for you. Also, be sure
to set your stitch length to zero.
Anything else?

Good luck!

Advice? Yes, indeed. Do not let DH back in your sewing room. Polly

Rita,
Never had a Pfaff so can't help. Just wanted to say how good it is to
see you back here and so glad you are able to sew.

I agree with Polly, but "encourage" him to keep up with the rest of the
house!

Thing is...can't sew unless it's an emergency like today. I had to do some
darning therefore the sewing. Have most everything for sale except for my
Pfaff.

How to lower the feed dogs. The mezzanine comes back to mind.
