Howdy back at you Sandy. Thanks for sharing this. It is a wonderful story.
I see similar, but not nearly as dramatic stories with some of the local
guild gals. Quilters are amazingly giving. The gal's helping 'kids' have
to be pretty old themselves.

How lovely. Hope for us all. I play tennis weekly with a large
social group and at least 3 are in their eighties - and play a good
game!
It all points to enjoying life and living every day as young as we are

into squares that are self-fulfilling. Oh, I'm 70, I must slow down

My great-aunt is 91 and still machien pieces and handquilts bedsized
quilts. She is very fortunate to still have good eyesight.
