Here's a funny story for you folks. I sold scrap on Ebay for awhile too. I
did bigger quantities but the s&h was too high. One day I sold a box full
for about $15, and shipped it UPS because it was cheaper. 2 weeks later the
buyer didn't get it? I put in a tracking inquiry. The response from UPS was
this.... "on delivery the driver shook the box at the door, and discovered
the contents sounded completely broken up and he discarded the box as
damaged goods". UPS then sent me a check for their minimum insurance on any
package.... $100! I refunded the $15 and made a $85 profit! Only in America
folks.

What part of "minimum insurance" are you having trouble with?

I hope you're kidding. They discarded his shipment, so they paid off
on it.

Old Boner doesn't quite understand the concept of insurance I guess? Fraud
is when you attempt to deceive. This was their call all the way.

well you did deceive, you allowed them to think it broken. an honest person
would have gave the balance after the 15 back to ups. do you think stealing
from UPS is different from your neighbors house??

the story does not ring true, as they usually leave the parcel but note on
delivery it sounded broken.

in my experience( always boxes of half circle bevels); the ups driver
makes the call; if it sounds broken, he doesn't deliver. max

Yes it was all a vicious lie. Since you already reported it to UPS,
let's see what they say? What, you didn't do as you said? Are you a liar as
well as a troll? LOL
