Default REQ: Coal Miner Quilt

I am in search of an appliqué quilt block pattern called Coal Miner. It is
a miner holding a pick or lantern.
If anyone has this pattern and would share it or knows where I may locate
it, please e-mail me directly.

Thanks
Billy in TN

Default Coal Miner Quilt

I'm new here and just wondering if you ever found a pattern for this quilt?
My Dad who is 88 would love a quilt of coal miners. Thanks,
GramQuilter

Default Coal Miner Quilt

I have a book about Railroads. Some of
the patterns might be adaptable. I
bought it at the Rail Road Museum in
Altoona, Pennsylvania, USA. It was a
local book there. PAT

Billy,

I have the template you are looking for. Please e-mail me at and I can send you the template in PDF format.

I made the template for my Aunt a couple of months ago. She did a redwork rather than applique but it could be done either way.

Thanks,
Ginny in Virginia
