My son was given two rings from an Uncle for a graduation present.
These rings were appraised in 1952 and this is what the written appraisal
said...



One Ladys 14K White gold engagement ring with app. 1/4K center stone and
four side stones of app. three points each for a total of twelve points.

One Ladys 14K White gold wedding band with 5 mallee of app. three points
each for a total of 15 points.

Retail Value, including all taxes is $350.00

There is really no way to tell. There are too many variables involved in
the appraising process (training, experience, objectivity, etc) to even guess.
With that said, in the long run it's going to be worth exactly what you can get
someone to pay for it.
