Triple Happy Dance!

The Santa cat is actually a Nancy Coffelt painted canvas -
unfortunately, I think it is discontinued, because I can't find it
anywhere. I really WILL get my camera out and take a picture tonight
(last night the housework got in the way - darn wanting a clean
bathroom anyway). However TM, if you do any needlepoint, you might
want to look at her stuff:

I agree about the colors. I liked the shapes. The pattern suggests
subsituting purple for brown, which I have done. It's actually a very
fun stitch.

I thought the Oddfellows had packed up years ago. However, Google pulls
up several sites that show that they are very active. It's amazing how
many of these old-fashioned Friendly Societies (such as the Rechabites)
still thrive even in these days of financial difficulties.

They still exist here, but the membership is aging.

There was a group from the local Odd Fellows marching in the
Remembrance Day parades.

Glad to here it. They and the Masons do good work.
