Should we squeeze our eyes shut and wish real hard? Even if it is cool
outside, it's always hot inside! All those people in a buying frenzy!

Hey, guys - we need the weather to be just a bit on the cool side.
Two of the pants I need to bring (because I only have 4 pairs) are

corduroy.

But, Teresa, doesn't going shopping now beat doing a sort of strip tease
at the show when you discover you're too warm?

I know I'm missing something, but what does IQF mean? I keep reading it
as Individually Quick Frozen, but I don't think it gets that cold in
Texas.

I'm only on RCTQ a few times a month so I missed the previous Roll Call.

Reporting for Class and Stash Acquisition Duty, SIR/MA'AM:

Susan M from Austin, TX
Arriving Monday afternoon, leaving Sunday
Taking lots of classes
Throwing lots of money at vendors
Am listed (and shown in a picture) on Kellie's database at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HoustonIQF/
I'll be putting more details on my classes/schedule on that database if
someone wants to try to find me.
Hope to see everyone Saturday at the noon meet-up. Last year we even had
Alex Anderson come over to our table. It was disgusting -- she is as nice
and friendly in person as she seems on the show!

LOL! She certainly was, Susan, and I'm even claiming my 15 minutes of
fame with her, since Ally and I are in a photo with Alex on the
Yahoo/Houston group page. G Just as wonderful, though, was meeting
Carol Doak in person! (I think you'd left before she was able to get
there.) I have a photo of her with some of us at
http://home.earthlink.net/~sfoster1/RCTQHouston03.html. She's amazing,
and those of us who were lucky enough to meet both her and Alex Anderson
on the *same day* probably walked around in a daze for the rest of that
memorable day. g

Howdy!
IQF is shorthand for TRBQSIH: The Really Big Quilt Show in Houston,
or International Quilt Festival for short.
http://www.quilts.com/
BY THE WAY:
the REALLY Big Lunch Room is downstairs on the FIRST floor, this year.

Ragmop/Sandy--thinks Alex was really checking out Don, Susan's husband,
more so than RCTQ ..just my opinion .. I would.
