Default Back in the saddle

I actually got to do some sewing this weekend! yippee! I was feeling a
little stir crazy. Sunday I started embroidering some towels for
Christmas gifts. It was fairly easy to thread the machine with one
hand. Today, I started back on the QU paper piecing class. I worked
for an hour and only got one block done. I had to cut everything with
templates and scissors, because I can't use the rotary cutter yet. But
I did get one block done. Maybe with a little steady work this week, I
can get started on catching up.

Using the machine isn't difficult and I'm starting to get a little
proficient in pinning without using my index finger. Cutting is my only
problem at this point. But I'm sure I'll eventually figure that one out
too while my finger heals.

Glad it didn't slow you down too much. A gentle hug, Linda

Yay! I'm so glad you're feeling enough better that you can begin
quilting again!

It was pretty rough and painful for awhile, but I'm feeling loads better
now.
