Yeah, here they teach about 3-4 years of US history, when if you put the
world's history on a timeline, US history covers a small portion in comparison.
I would love to go to Europe and see some things that are REALLY old.

Maps say so much, and can be so beautiful -
when you think of the work that it took to do the old maps, and the gorgeous
cartouches.

Oh, yes, I agree wholeheartedly. I would love to drool over your poster of the
Catalan Atlas map! What a great thing to have. Oh, I need to go drag all my
other maps out and have a dreamy session. I have been suffering from wanderlust
lately, probably make it worse though. Oh well.
