Dear folks,
greetings once again.How are you doing? Today things on the island are back
to normal after hurricane Ivan pass through.We just received a little damage
because of high winds.Unfortunately for Grenada ,St.Vincent and Tobago they
lost plenty,especially Grenada.Ninety percent of the houses there were
destroyed.and to date twenty persons lost their lives.
It has intensified and is heading towards Jamaica..We can only pray and
hope for the best for that island.
Incidentally the hurricane passed about sixty miles to the south of
barbados,and yet roof tops and trees were removed as far as the northern
areas.I worked from the monday afternoon from 2pm until tuesday afternoon
until 2.30pm.Seeing the results of what took place in grenada,in all
honesty I would not like to see barbados after one.We are too flat and have
nothing to withstand the winds.
