well, there has to be some advantage to living in the highest taxed
jurisdiction on the continent... if it's speaking at least two languages,
I'll take it. ;-)

actually, Montreal is in Quebec, which is the province. ;-)
New Brunswick, a province east of Quebec, also has a large speaking
population and there are pockets through out Canada, namely in Ontario and
Manitoba.

I have trouble with US English, sigh. But I am pretty good at 4.5 year old
and Cat and Dog. Our dog has a great vocabulary - unusual for a dog.

I have a huge admiration for anyone who speaks and hears more than one
language. They are talented people.

thanks! gracias! grazie! merci! ) and soon to graduate in baby talk! )

btw, it is not talent. it is just a matter of being exposed to them
early on. I regularly thank my parents for sending me to a british
school which caused them a lot of economic sacrifice when we were
growing up. french I learnt in public school, and it my weakest since I
never used it. italian when I was older, since I have citizenship and
dad thougth it was the 'right' thing to do... )
