I share books through BookCrossing .com...you label the books and leave
them in places that you think they will get picked up, read and passed on...I usually leave them over at the hospital or in the Dr office Olwyn Mary wrote: wrote: Who are your favorite authors? Do you keep a list of best sellers? I read about ten books a week, and I'm out of space; would like to pass on some of them. Let me know. Teri |

In our office, we had a shoebox in the kitchen, and when people finished a book, they'd put it in the box for co-workers to read. Every few months, someone would send out a "speak now or forever hold your peace" memo, and take all the unwanted books to a used book store that would swap them 2-for-1 or 3-for-2. I got exposed to some things I never would have read otherwise, and enjoyed some more than I thought I would. -- Karen C - California www.CFSfacts.org where we give you the facts and dispel the myths Myths, with research cites: http://www.aacfs.org/images/pdfs/myths.pdf Finished 7/10/07 -- Dance of the Roses WIP: The Teacher, Bethany Angel, Pooh & Crew, Flowers of Hawaii (Jeanette Crews) for ME!!! Fun when you occasionally get feedback through the site, too. Pat |
