If you have time to shop around you can save quite a lot by comparing prices
by going to http://www.quiltshops.com/search.htm And do pay close
attention to their order page. Most will ask if you just must have the
entire amount ordered or if you'll be happy with a lesser amount. (
Sometimes I don't care, sometimes it is important.) Polly

I've gone to The Fabric Shack both online... and in person... and have had
very good luck. Erica's is another place I've purchased from more than
once.

Who have you purchased fabric from ?

Was it a good experience?

Who do I avoid ?

Are Handcocks of Paducah pleasant to deal with ?

What do I need to be wary of ?

Thanks in Advance

I've had good luck ordering from http://www.virginiaquilter.com/,
though I don't order a lot of fabric online. I've only ordered batting
and notions from Hancock's of Paducah, but have not had any problems
with their service.

I haven't bought much online but I have used equilter.com. Delivery was
pretty quick, even coming across the border to Canada (which often slows
things down).

I have had excellent service and found good prices at
http://www.bighornquilts.com/ She is great about responding to inquiries
and even special ordered a bolt of my favorite stabilizer for me- she hadn't
heard of it before I asked her to get it for me.

I LOVE this eBay seller http://stores.ebay.com/Siris-of-California?_rdc=1
She has a wonderful selection, prompt response to questions, great prices
and lovely fabrics. *Highly* recommended!

Hi Susan, just wondering when you might be heading for Florida. I have
friends who just moved to Zephyr Hills and I might be in the area
occasionally. It is 1 & 1.2 hr, from my FL house.

Yes, I left fabric shack off my list. I ordered from them once with
great results!

Connecting Threads has great fabric, prices and customer service. They
send quickly also.
Equilter is kind of pricey but they have good weekly sales and first
class fabrics.
Fabric,coom is also good
Handcocks od Paducah takes a long time to ship but their sales are
good as well as their fabrics
