Default Removing logotypes from porcelain cups

I have a bunch of nice porcelain cups, plain white in colour and with
a shiny coating (glazing?). The only thing is that there are ugly
company logotypes printed on them (obviously underneath the glazing).
I wonder whether it's possible to remove those logotypes somehow. My
initial thought was to sand it off if possible, and then add some kind
of clear coating instead. Perhaps the easiest way is to simply hide
the old logotype behind a new layer of paint. Has anyone tried doing
something like this before?

Thousand thanks...

you are not going to take the logo out of a glazed ceramic item....
if you dont like it then throw them out... once its in there and fired
its permanent... that is why its fired so it becomes a part of the cup.

I've taken off company logos from glazed items by super high firing.
I've nearly burned my kiln out a few times, but I have lots of cups I
can reuse now!
