Default Valentine's quilt photos up

DH has been whining for years that he doesn't have one of my quilts for his
very own. Now he'll have to find something else to whine about.

Click on the "Quilting" album, then scroll to the end for Eric's quilt.

The backing is a very cool red/orange/purple heart print. I thought I was
going to have to arm wrestle the lady at the LQS for it yesterday, as she
hadn't seen it before and really loved it. Luckily I only needed a couple of
yards off the full bolt, so she "let" me buy it. *snort!*

That's very nice, Kathy, and thanks for putting in the close-up of the
quilting.

I like it! What a great present. Did you keep it a secret? How? My hubby
eventually knows about all the projects I'm working on.

The top is fused, so I got it done in about 15 minutes. Folded it up with
the backing and binding fabric, and brought it to work to quilt. DH is used
to my shuttling fabric back and forth, so he didn't bat an eye there. I was
worried he'd pop his head upstairs while I was quilting it, but he was
actually busy (and in a bad mood) most of the morning, so I got the quilting
and binding done without him seeing.

Getting the quilt really snapped him out of his bad mood! LOL
