Default Happy Day at Youth Fair Auction

I am so excited to tell everyone that the group quilt made by our 4-H girls won
Class Champion in our county's Youth Fair which is run in conjunction with the
Livestock Show. It sold in the auction yesterday for $2000! The group who
bought it is donating it back to the annual Cowboy Christmas Ball so it can be
auctioned off again. The money from yesterday's auction will go to our 4-H club
and will eventually be recycled back to the kids for scholarships and other
service projects that we do. Although the purpose of our quilt project was to
help the members learn new skills and be able to work together toward a common
goal, it helped me because I realized that if this quilt can get finshed then I
have no excuse for all my UFO's. There is hope after all!!!!

THAT'S AWESOME!!!!! As a former 4-H mom and leader I know the trials,
tribulations, and joys of 4-H projects.

Yay! Good for them - and you! And how nice to see the work involved
raised a realistic price! So often these things go for next to nothing.
