Thunderbird, my newsreader, decided to update itself. Now I can't find
the 'reply' button when I read the messages. What I wanted to say was - John, you should start a line of Girly accessories on Etsy. They look great! But I couldn't find the button. Alas... I suppose that's what I get for mostly lurking these days. I have lost the privilege of replying! Karen, Queen of Squishies |

Karen,
Under Help, go to Migration Assistant. On the first page, click "next." You should then get a page where it gives you the option to keep your original toolbar buttons. Select that and see if it brings back your reply button. I also found that with the way mine is set up, there's a reply button in the header box of the message itself, and I don't think that was there before! -- Louise in Iowa nieland1390@mchsi dot com http://community.webshots.com/user/louiseiniowa On 8/24/2010 6:17 AM, Karen, Queen of Squishies wrote: Thunderbird, my newsreader, decided to update itself. Now that just plain makes me mad. Who in the Sam Hill chose the words
'Migration Assistant' as a term in newsreaders? Dumb, dumb and dummer! Grrr. I just can't imagine how on earth Louise figured that one out. At least I'll know what to do when I can't find the reply button anymore! Thx! Allison |

And as awful as the extremely tedious software for my embroidery machine.
To save a file, you have to click the B with the circle around it. ( I spent years learning to put a circle around the A so I could write 'at'. =) To change a font, you must click the big blue arrow. Twice. Once - and it just sits there playing dead. These pains make me wonder about the expression 'user friendly'. I always wonder just what the user was using. Polly "Pat S" wrote in message ... Only - my reply button used to be at the top of the message, and now it is only on the newsgroup window. Ah, well. Karen, Queen of Squishies |

Karen, Queen of Squishies Karen, It's just as Louise said, in the header box of the message you're reading. It's actually very convenient once you know where to find it. Judie |

Or you can use "control r" just so you have another choice Judie Now that's handy! Because my reply button is not in the message header. I did follow Louse's instructions, and it came back, but only into the ng window. But 'control r' works great! TY! Karen, Queen of Squishies |
