WUH???
Once upon a time we had a wonderful lady named Sarah who was a big part of
this newsgroup. She thought a wallhanging was a sort of sacrilegious thing and she couldn't even bring herself to say the word 'wallhanging'. She stuttered with a w-w-w-wuh... that's where it originated and it's hanging around long after Ms. Sairey has stopped posting. We still miss her! WUH???
WALLHANGING, WALLHANGING, WALLHANGING.
Most my pieces hang on a wall... I mean how many bed quilts does one need. They make great insulation as we discovered when we hung them around the church walls one year in February. And it also saves on decorating))) Elly "Leslie & The Furbabies in MO." wrote: Once upon a time we had a wonderful lady named Sarah who was a big part of this newsgroup. WUH???
The rest of the story is . . . . Sarah made a WUH for the office where she
used to work. It was beautiful (I got to see it!). So, even though she finally made a WUH, she still considers them WUHs! Donna in Idaho (who has posted here for 10+ years!) Abbreviations FAQ WUH???
Sandy!!! **fanning, dabbing brow** I am humbled, awed and
amazed.......well, maybe not all that much, after all Miz Butterfly made a "request" so what else could one *possibly* do? I am somewhat disappointed that the ONLY one missing is my all time favorite....... PIGS = Projects in Grocery Sacks; often associated with UFOs & USOs........ comes under the sub category of 'seemed like a good idea at the time' *sigh* Val "Sandy Ellison" wrote in message ...
