Hi All

I have a friend who will be travelling to London and have two weekends
free. She is looking for the best cross stitch / needlework shops to
explore in her down time. I'll foward all suggestions on to her.

Two years ago I was in a wonderful shop just around the corner from
Kensington Palace. You might do an internet search to check for shops
in London. Also, ask a hotel concierge.
Special note to your friend -- prices in London are simply horrendous
right now, so be prepared!

Easiest Liberty's on Regent Street ( very expensive ) but John Lewis
on Oxford Street is great and less expensive. They Lewis' also have
lovely wool too.

Do they still have all that lovely fabric as well? I didn't realize
Liberty's had stitching stuff - should've known. My favorite wool challis
shawl came from there. It feels like silk.

John Lewis - nice store.
