Try Precious Metal Clay. It starts out and works like clay and then when
heated in a kiln, with a torch or in a hot pot the clay binders burn off and you are left with fine silver. Check out http://www.pmcguild.com Greg "Gregg" wrote in message ... I used Dremel tools for years before I graduated to a proper Foredom
rig. Two things to note are (a) you'll wear the Dremels out if you use them a lot: if you accept that up front then you won't be disappointed when it comes time to toss one and buy another. And (b) over time you'll invest far more in bits, drills, polishing wheels, etc than you ever will in either Dremel or Foredom motors. The accessories are the real investment, the motor is just a way to make use of them. And yes, polishing can be done with a Dremel ... assuming you've got felts and bobs, polishing wheels and compounds, etc. Like I said, these are the real investment. Cheers, Trevor F. |
