Thank you Pat (and everyone else that replied to this thread) I love this
group and have gotten so many great ideas but I really was just a

keystroke
away from unsubscribing because I just kept feeling like I'd never live up
to $10.00 a yard, $7000 sewing machine 20 years to quilt a project
expectations. And being to embarrassed to share what I do just defeats

the
purpose...

Now that I know that there are enough people that DON'T feel that way I
figure I'll stick around awhile (at least long enough to get on the next
address list in six months so that I may squish all of you that made me

feel
like I should stay)

The Roberta in Maryland? We know you now girl ... maybe you are a

As a relative newbie, did you remember to send 1-2 lb.. chocolate

report back to you. You want to make sure you have the good kind,
right?

It is nice to know that there are people that are less judgmental
out there.

As an outsider to this group and a new quilter I have to say...I
would never feel comfortable posting where I buy fabric, what kind
of sewing machine I just bought or how I intend to quilt my
projects. I do get a lot from reading suggestions and links to
sales. I also love to look at all of the beautiful quilts and
quilts in progress.

I did get some GOOD news for the ENT Dr today--and yes I have ONE MORE
pill to take! I do NOT have a sinus/ear infection--just chronic sinus
disease and the possibility of a collapsing Eustachian tube --and now
(as a precaution) will have a CAT Scan to make sure she isn't missing
anything--and then off to an allergist..but she is having me try
Clarinex to see if that helps.......at least I don't have to take any
more antibiotics !!! YAY!!! AND I won't have to take Benadryl (makes me
so tired!)
Thanks Diana for puttin me at the top---the idea alone has cheered me
greatly : )

Sorry for yelling (well, not really but anything to get your

Quilting began by women piecing together pieces of scrap fabrics, old
clothing and sac cloths out of necessity. That is where the joy and

beauty

of quilting began. They'd be aghast at some of the snobbery that lives

NEVER, EVER be ashamed of where you buy your fabric or how you put

You sound like me. We quilt because we love it. It's soothing, it's

Good Grief!
Thank goodness for that. Good job my namesake and others read between
the lines. I read your post and just thought you were a private person
and just wanted to keep your own personal stuff to yourself. I never
dreamt it was because you felt you'd have to 'live up to' something. Of
course, over here in the UK, we can rarely if ever find anything less
expensive than $10 per yard!! But that's just the way of the world - we
only mention prices to make you all feel good over there. g

Now that you are feeling better about the group, I'm sure you'll have a
much more fun time. You won't be worrying about things. I do wish I
were a little more psychic sometimes. Anyway, all sorted now. And,
honestly, the sharing part is really terrific.

Ermm.. well.. okay. Can't argue with that.
Need any help on Butterfly's? LOL

Elena mmmmmm comatose.... sounds good...This quilt WILL come with you to
housekeep for a week or two, won't it? Not much cleaning, just chase the
kids and dog, and the rocking chair out on the patio needs sitting in for
awhile. Quilting studio readily shared. You can even have my
scrap..errr...stash if I get a quilt out of it.
