out the door!
I'm beginning to get just to excited. DH is getting dressed to take me
out for another afternoon of S.E.X.!!!!! Last week the LQS at 11 miles each way and today to tswlth about 13 miles away with a different type of traffic pattern. I have a 40% off coupon for JAF and a 30% coupon for Hancock fabrics which is virtually across the road from JAF. So the plan is both of them. I have been mulling around in my mind just what I want to get.... definitely patterns. Adding to my pallet for flannels (autumn colors) and maybe even so of the $1.00 off a yard quilting fabrics... have to think about it but of course it I see something that catches my eye look out! Then after the S.E.X.. we will stop at the bread outlet store to get all kinds of breads and treats! It is on the way home so that will work just fine. So not only will I be surpassed with goodies compliments of DH but if all goes well with all kinds of brown candies and such... I can hardly wait to get back to tell everyone just what we bring home... maybe this learning to drive again is really a good thing after all. Oh, I'm just soon excited. juliasb (fast getting dressed to go!) |

OH!!! Oh!!!! Yes I'm back!!!
Well TSWLTH definitely was a challenge. Mostly because I bought with me the coupon sales that start 'tomorrow'. I guess I was just to excited that I didn't notice I picked up the wrong one. But anyway I did get another can of basting spray... I used a 50% off coupon on that. I bought a few smaller pieces of flannel that I have been adding to my palette. Then we went across the way to Hancock Fabrics where I had a 30% off coupon and I picked up a beautiful turquoise fabric with turtles on it set in a mosaic type of pattern... gorgeous (if you love turquoise like I do). I picked up a couple more small pieces of flannel for my palette there too. I figure I would like to have about 20 different flannels for the quilt I have in mind for them. The only problem I am having is buying the fabrics in smaller amounts something that is very difficult for me to do. I actually have had to force myself into buying only 1/2 yd. of each. I don't believe I have purchased such a small slice of fabrics for something since I was making my own clothing and a 1/2 yd pieces was needed as an accent piece or something. For me it is just unheard of to buy less than 2-3 yards of any fabric. You have no idea what kind of self control I have had to pull up!! So I made myself feel better with what was left on the bolt of the turquoise turtles, about 4 1/2 yd. there. We were then on our way home and decided to stop at a garage sale... last day so things were all 1/2 off... and there it was FABRIC!!!!!!I swooped up all the cotton, I can't really tell you how much yet because I haven't gone through it all. I also picked up a few pieces she had that I can use in a crazy quilt that I have been collecting fabrics for now for a couple years. Then we stopped at the outlet bakery and Jerry went hog wild!!!! I believe he bought enough chocolate cakes, pastries, candies and such than I could find a place to put them all. He has a serious addiction to hostess ho-bo's.... so there are 10 boxes of those, 12 large chocolate brownies, frozen, ready to bake chocolate chip cookie. Pecan pies, chocolate covered peanut brittle, chocolate/peanut butter wafers, chocolate covered macaroons, and 4 pounds of chocolate covered wafers. Since I am sitting here I know I am missing a number of things. Believe me if this doesn't last him at lest a month (with my help of course) there is a real serious problem. Oh yeah he even threw in a loaf of bread just because. . Oh yeah don't let me forget the chocolate fudge. (blasphemy). So when I am finished here I am going to prop myself up in bed watch a bit of tv with DH and eat chocolate covered peanut brittle. . It was a delightful/fating and fabric-ing day to be sure... haven't has such good S.E.X in a while... and to top it all of I drove!!!! juliasb Butterfly wrote: Are you back yet? Whaddaya get?
