Dichro fusing? It's really easy, and gratifying.

That sounds right for me. :=)

I actually looked for a place to take lessons, closest one I found is
about 45 minutes from me which isn't bad but I'd be pressured to get
there after dh gets home from work. I'm sure I can find one closer, I
was only casually surfing last night.

Do you have a kiln? If you do, just get yourself a copy of Gil Reynolds'
"Fused Glass Handbook". It's a wonderful book, and walks you through
what you need to know. And if you don't have a kiln, the wonderful thing
about fusing is that you can get a starter kiln for really
(comparatively) cheap! It's a great craft.

No kiln here. I think I'll take dd to the library next week and check
it out, Kalera. Thank you for the title and any other information
you'd like to throw my way is most welcomed.

If you're going to the library, look for books by Boyce Lundstrom and
Brad Walker too! Oh, my gosh, I would love to tell you everything I
know... but I'll do you one better and give you... THE LINK:
