Default square-in-square -Thanks Polly!

I finished a little top in Christmas fabrics using one of Polly's delightful
Square-in-squares blocks, to which she posted the link last week. It's
pinned and ready for quilting, so that's my mission for today.
The house is quiet, both DDs departed, only the visiting parrot left and he
seems a little depressed that they've gone.

You win, Roberta. Absolutely. Unqualifiedly. No contest.
You just must be the only one of us who has a visiting parrot, and, to
add insult to injury, one who does not have the good manners to go home. Or
has he worked his way into your heart and you don't want him to go home?
I'm so glad you enjoyed Marcia's Square in Square 2. Mine's ready to be
quilted and I'm thinking some thread in a glorious purple will take the
muddy problem away. Polly

Mr. Murphy (African Grey) belongs to a friend who is also a neighbor in this
village. So it's easy to bring over the bird when they travel. And they
planned on 5 weeks back home in Canada over the holidays! Even though he's
not really into quilts, Murphy is very amusing, knows lots of words, music
and assorted sound effects and has a great sense of timing. I asked to keep
him permanently, but my friend didn't seem interested in the offer.

As for the quilts, purple thread sounds great! We can swap photos when
they're done :-)
