Default I bought 3 of Jim Shore's Heartwood Creek Santas

I'm so excited, there is one shop here that I've seen them and today they
had quite a few in.........so.......I called my wonderful husband and said
......can I.....? He told me to wrap 'em up and put them under the tree.
What a guy.....we aren't supposed to be buying each other anything since we
just bought ourselves a hot tub......oh well! Next year I'm going to buy
the Nativity Scene.

Howdy!
Yee--Haw!
I got the Nativity group this year, they're on the tall table in
the "breakfast room" so I see them dozens of times a day.
There's an angel there, too, "Persistence." One of the
Santas is on the dining room table, and an ornament given
to me by a friend hangs here by the computer.
The quilt patterns on these are wonderful, the secondary scenes
painted and carved into the Nativity figurines are amazing.
You got good taste, Lorraine!
Ragmop/Sandy--I think "Persistence" fits my quilting style ;-D

Lorraine, that's what I put on my list for next year as well, the Nativity
set. Isn't it amazing? I love his work. He was just featured in one of
the magazines. Such talent. Enjoy your Santas!

Do they have an angel called Joie de Vive? That would look appropriate in
your house too. :-)

Well, I took the 3 they had. One has the farm scene on it, another is
holding a pear tree, and another has a long cane with a little bell on it.
I have seen the nativity scene....it's gorgeous! I also bought a snowman
for a friend, and my mom went out and bought a snowman after seeing the
things I came home with. And I really liked an angel with a tree and a
little angel ornament that you can hand on a stand....and,
and.........there's always next year, right?

Yes, I find if I start in the previous December, I really gain a lot of
momentum - plus I have a whole year+ to drop hints!
