Great quilting! Too bad the dragon doesn't have a pair of glasses on --
maybe he had LASIK? ;-P

What a great idea that would have been, Kathy! And thanks.

Sandy, it's gorgeous. No 'ifs' and 'buts', just plain wonderful.
The dragon is friendly and beautiful - but that quilting. Oh my! Your
work is just superb. And now you have 'conquered' appliqué g. I can
hardly wait to see what you will come up with next, now that you have
another string to your bow (one that you never thought you would
have!!).

You're so right about that, Pat -- I never thought I'd feel comfortable
doing machine appliqué! And now I've signed up for a hand appliqué class
at camp next summer -- we'll see how that goes. I'm a lot more
uncomfortable with that than with the machine version. G Thanks for
your compliment -- it means a lot coming from you.

It was good to revisit the sweet hummingbird, too.

Oh my gosh! Sandy - your quilting is beautiful & the dragon is sure to be a
hit with your eye doctor!

Thanks so much, Pauline.

I made a baby quilt for a doctor that literally saved my life a couple of
years ago & she was so touched by it. Last year, I made a music themed
quilt for another doctor - that literally saved my life - & every time I see
him, he tells me how he has it displayed in his music room & when it's
chilly he pulls it around him. It's wonderful to give a quilt to someone
that really treasures it. I'm sure your eye doctor will!

I do hope you're right -- and I'm so glad to hear that your doctors did
value your generous gifts!

That is just gorgeous Sandy! What a loving dragon it looks.
You are one talented lady! One day in the next life, I hope to
machine quilt like that.
Cheers
Bronnie

Thanks, Bronnie -- but I drool over your quilts, too, and wish I could
do such imaginative things.

What an exquisite creation. I enjoy everything about it - was particularly
charmed with the bubbles in the quilting as the colors changed. Super!
Congratulations, Polly

Thanks so much, Polly! Those bubbles were fun to do, but I really
love feathers. G
