Oh, Boy, Betty! I got such a giggle out of the word "dear." I never
thought of having one my exes stuffed and mounted on the wall. Why do all
the good ideas come to me too late?

Today I received the ultimate thank you note. I made a quilt for my new
neighbor here in The Swamp. He truly, dearly loves it. Will not sleep
or
nap
without it. I was sure he appreciated it.
Not enough.
He brought me an eight-point buck by way of a thank-you note.
Well, fortunately, not the whole buck.
It is such a beautiful lovely mounted deer. I guess you call it a

deer.
He is mounted here in the sewing room and makes quite a statement.
My idea of hunting would be to go out in the woods and get a deer to
roll over and let me rub his belly.
Quite a challenge to have the "thank you" here with me.
I am trying to get comfortable with this expression of appreciation.

My
mother would say, "Now, don't that beat all?". Yes, I think it does.

I made a vampire cape and shirt front with tie for a cat once upon a time.
Specially for a TV appearance.

I know someone who made a costume for a cow once...

I have to ask. Is that a costume for a cow meaning an 8 year old looks
like a cow for Halloween or a costume for a cow meaning a cow looks like
Glenda the good witch of the North for the school play?

Lemee see... here you go: http://pages.ripco.net/~zski/cow.htm

Wendy's cow is quite famous over on alt.sewing

Are you SURE he liked the quilt????

I think a deer head would be a form of revenge.

You poor thing.
