OT I need a deployed
Our own near and dear in the military are all back in the states this
Christmas season. Praise God. I want someone to send pralines to overseas and it's getting to be time to cook and get them shipped. Do any of you have a deployed kin that would enjoy (and maybe even share) candy from 'home'? I can provide character references since our pastor is new and doesn't know me yet. Polly |

OT I need a deployed
I am just so surprised not to have a response. And the same from our
churches. If the weather is good, we are Baptist. If it's not so good, we are Presbyterians where the church is much closer. Somehow neither church has anyone deployed to Afghanistan. Donna's son was such a joy to send pralines to - there was even a clerk there who was packing to come home and she was pleased to scavenge the praline packing for her laptop. How am I going to find someone? I guess I could go ask at WalMart on Friday. Seems like everybody's going to be there. Polly wrote in message ... I can vouch for Polly's Pralines. She sent some to my DS when he was in Iraq. They were gone in minutes and yes, he shared. He's back in the States now. There are some military in Afganistan still. Those poor guys/gals won't be home for some time yet but I don't know any of them. Help Polly out quilters and make it possible for her to "sweeten up" our our folks so far from home. Thanks again to Polly from DS and me for being so kind. Donna in Bellevue |

My nephew is deployed, but unfortunately, I don't know where. My
sister doesn't speak to me. OT I need a deployed
LOL. Okay. Maybe it's not funny but my brother didn't speak to me for
nearly a year and honestly it was a relief. We don't get to choose our siblings. The last thing I said to him was to quit being a Drama Queen and solve his problems. Never heard from him again. I reckon he didn't appreciate my unsympathetic response. If he wants to see himself as a victim, that's his choice. We are not responsible for other people's choices. We are not. YES ! YES! Mary, please. And hurry. It takes weeks to ship something
from Mississippi to our finest. We have to have a real address to mail pralines or get rejected or tossed aside from I understand careful scrutiny. My email address here is ridiculous. You can actually reach me at bGobbledegookhgobbledegookmartin@cableonedotnet. Of course, remove the gobbledegook and use a real dot. Wonder if that works? Please send me a test email and I'll let you know if it gets here. Since the IRS and the BallalohongaWalla treasury department are hoping for my email address, I have to be very careful. The truth is, I have a serious assault with junk spam and try to stay clear of as much as I can. Thank you. Sending a happy moment to our own is an important special Christmas big gift for us. OT I need a deployed
Polly,
I'm sending an address for a wonderful soldier who started the "Iraqi Bundles of Love" project; sending thousands of boxes of material and sewing supplies to Iraqi. You can read about it on the website: http://ibol.wordpress.com/ I know he would love your pralines and would definitely share. Michelle G. "Polly Esther" wrote in message ... Michelle, I just sifted through 81 junk mails received today hoping to find
a message from you. Not here yet. If you can't by-pass the filters, I've realized that we can simply send pralines to someone who's stationed in the states. Christmas away from home in a Georgia barracks probably needs something sweet. Polly "Michelle G." wrote in message ...
