Thousands of colors. Far more colors than are available in 8/0 and 6/0. Although....sigh....not as many colors as those weensy Delicas. If you have my (lack of) manual dexterity (I sometimes joke that I became a programmer because computer keys are big enough to hit), 11/0s are as small as it gets that you (I) can handle. As colors go, you can find a lot of colors in the larger beads as well if you go a bit out of your way. Only because e.g. FMG doesn't have them doesn't mean they don't exist. The weight is higher, so transport is higher, so prices are higher, and some colors are more expensive than others. Maren (definitely not a bead weaver) HiloBeads: Beads - Beading Supplies - Hand-made Jewelryhttp://www.hilobeads.com/ Blog at:http://hilobeads.blogspot.com/ If you want a whole slew of colors in the larger beads (8/0 and 6/0), then hark thyself over to charlene's beads: http://www.cbbeads.com/ She has more colors than I will ever use in the 8/0's, which I use because some nerve damage makes it difficult for me to use the littles. Her prices are more than fair (buy the 1/4 kilos or larger in your most-used colors for a real deal). Charlene is happy to order a color for you if you need it in the 1/4 kilo size and up (I think that's the rule). Also, she's a "regular person" not a commercial enterprise like FMG, which is a huge plus to me. She carries the little beads, too, but there are many suppliers of little beads, and not a whole lot who "bother" with the 8/0s and 6/0s. Tell her Kathy N-V sent you. |
