Default Focus on Design: Pine Tree Blocks and Tops

I haven't tried this block but I love trees. I'm envisioning making a
table runner using an assortment of my greens for most of the trees,
maybe making them of varying heights with one little tree in the middle
in bright Autumn colors. There is always one tree that turns colors in
the fall before the others. Yup, I think I'm going to make it.

I want to make an assortment of lap quilts with matching coffee table
runners for different times of the year, and the tree idea is great.
Thanks for getting the creative juices flowing this cool, gray and foggy
NH morning.

Denise
