Hi everyone, Life is indeed hectic the last 9 months or so. Norah will be
a 1 year old next month. She is an adorable child (bragging Nana here).
Jack is 7 months old and stays with me 4 days a week while his Mom & Dad
work. He is a delight! Norah is talking and calls me Nana, a sweeter
sound I have never heard. Jack babbles and gives hugs and wet sloppy
kisses. She is toddling (still holding on) and he is sitting up and standing
up against furniture. Raising my own kids made being a Grandma so worth it.
My heart is full!!!

Sewing has taken a bit of a backseat, but I have managed to make a quilt for
Jack and finished the label this past week. Photos to follow. Today is my
free day and I am sure I will be busier running all over town.

I don't post too often but I do read a couple of times a week. Miss you
all, Linda (Nana 2 2)

Good to hear from you, Linda. Aren't grandchildren just wonderful? DH & I
just returned from Georgia, and saw ours. They will be 8 & 10 next month.
They are growing up fast. Let us hear when you have time.

Good to hear from you.

Aren't those grandkids sweet. I felt like I had been rewarded for
something when I got mine. So I know how you feel. When my little
grandson smiles I know that life is good. :~}

Hey, good to hear from you! I'm glad you are enjoying the beautiful grands,
Linda. Do it while you can, they are little for such a short time!

Linda!!!!! Hi!!!! Welcome back. I know exactly what you mean about the
little ones keeping you busy. Logan is 3 years old now, can you believe
it?!! He's still quite the little flirt too. Christian is 19 months old,
Gregory is 17 months old and Courtney is 15 months old. Christian and his
mom moved back in with us last August so we really stay busy. I also keep
Gregory a day or two a week. So having two toddlers is quite the experience.
Don't you just adore those sloppy kisses?

I'm like you, I don't get to post very often but I at least try to pop in
and read a few messages a couple of times a week. Take care.

Hugs,
Mika

Welcome back, Linda. So nice to hear about your growing brood of grands. I
can't believe that Norah is almost a year already. Where does the time go!
I, too, am called Nana by my two grandkids. Finn will be three in August.
I see him several times a week since they live 2 miles from us. And I have
him 3 Saturdays a month while mom works. He is reading simple books, can
count to 50, knows all his colors (in English and Spanish) and shapes
including the trapezoid! He has a memory like a steel trap. He loves
Matchbox cars and knows the location of everyone of them - and who gave them
to him. He also is a big Thomas the Tank Engine fan and knows every engine
and their names.

Ava is 18 months old and lives in Florida with my son and DIL. She is
starting to talk big time and loves books. I have not seen her since
November but I will get to see her soon. We (my daughter and Finn) are
driving down in June to spend a week with my mom and get the kids together.
They have not met yet so this is an exciting trip - can you say "Photo Op".
I'm looking forward to getting some pictures of my mom (now 87) with both of
the kids which will be a first. Mom now has a third great grandchild who
was born in early March but she lives in Colorado and there isn't much
chance at this point of everyone being at Mom's at the same time. So we
take what we can get.

Looking forward to more updates on Norah and Jack!

Thanks, Patti. As it turns out, Pop-Pop was able to get Finn tickets to
ride the Thomas train in June. That's all he talks about now - oh, that and
our visit to Sea World while in Florida in June.
