Donna,
One of my goals is to see your part of the world as well as the Boundary Waters area. Haven't been to Duluth since I was a small child either. I'll let you know if I ever head your way! Maybe we can meet up for lunch! -- Whoohoo! Dreamweaver "oldhag" wrote in message ... Dreamweaver wrote: Lake of the Woods area? Yep that's it. No, my DH and I don't fish. Donna in NWOntario |

As Sharon said, get the air travel return to Australia with a stopover
in NZ. I did that this year to the US with Air NZ - a great airline. Come over to the Gold Coast for a week. Cheers Bronwyn "Pauline O'Connell" wrote in message ... When I was in Binghamton I was Anne Milligan.
If she doesn't like sewing it is still possible to seduce her to Quilting. Does she like chocolate? ... -- Anne in CA "It's not having what you want; it's wanting what you've got." -- Sheryl Crow http://home.covad.net/~arudolph/annes.htm georg wrote: wrote: born - Syracuse NY college - Binghamton NY & Syracuse NY resided (in order, since graduation) - El Progresso, Guatemala; Flagstaff AZ; Moraga CA; Acton MA; Los Altos Hills CA (south of SF, near Palo Alto and Stanford) great thread! -- Anne in CA "It's not having what you want; it's wanting what you've got." -- Sheryl Crow What throws me, Anne, is that I know another Anne Rudolph... currently living in Binghamton. Sadly, she isn't all that fond of sewing. -georg remove NOSPAM to reply |

Boxborough? Concord? Carlisle? Maynard? Stow? I worked for the Acton-Boxborough
Regional School District. There was a lot of grass roots agitation for a spelling of "Boxboro" like on the exit signs from I-495 :-). I think the folks of Foxborough managed to get Foxboro made their legal name, yuck. -- Anne in CA "It's not having what you want; it's wanting what you've got." -- Sheryl Crow http://home.covad.net/~arudolph/annes.htm "LN (remove NOSPAM)" wrote: I grew up (so to speak) in the town next to Acton, MA. -- LN in NH a crazy quilter * hand quilter * & hand appliquér all in all --- a very slow quilter.... Oh wow. Wouldn't a trip to NZ and Australia be neat?? DH was in Sydney
for RandR when he was in Vietnam and has talked about going back sometime. Maybe when the kids are out of college we can do that. And then meet up with people I "know"!!! Wow. That would be sooooo cool. I bought a NZ quilt magazine yesterday. Very nice magazine. There certainly are a lot of shops in the ads. Who knew?? Hummm I wonder if there are any hospitals there who need physicians with a specialty in geriatrics for a conference?? I'll have to have him keep an eye out. That way he could be busy while I go play with the quilty girls! Kathyl remove "nospam-" before mchsi http://community.webshots.com/user/kathylquiltz "Bronwyn Ferrier Ms" wrote in message om... oooooooops. North east of Des Moines
I'm normally not directionally challanged. "Julia in MN" wrote in message ... Lisa Caryl wrote: Central Iowa, northwest of Des Moines, and East of Ames. How can that be? I thought Ames was directly north of Des Moines; at least that's what it looks like in my road atlas. If that is correct, it seems like anything northwest of Des Moines would also be west of Ames. We know a number of people living in Australia who come from NZ. One
guy gets strip searched nearly every time he goes back to visit his family. needless to say he is not impressed by NZ officials... Dee in Oz "Pauline O'Connell" wrote in message m... Last time I was in Australia, we had a stopover in Auckland & got sprayed with the insecticides. I understand they don't do that anymore. That couldn't have been good for the humans, especially the flight crew. Yes, you're very close! |
