Default 21 Quiltmaker Magazine Back Issues Up for Grabs

Hi everybody!
I tried to post this from my other account
and it never showed up, so now I'm trying again
from Google. I apoligize if some of you see
it twice.
I'm between jobs and have been busy organizing
things....I have 21 odd Quiltmaker magazines,
all are duplicates from my collection that are
looking for a new place to live.
Issues a
#7 & #8 from 1985,
#9 & #10 from 1986,
#11 & #12 from 1987,
#13 & two #14s from 1988,
#15 from 1989,
#23 from 1991,
#30 from 1993,
two #52s from 1996,
#55 & #56 from 1997
#83 from 2002
#96 from 2004
Spring 2001 All Time Favorites
Spring 2002 " "
Spring 2003 " "

All except one are completly intact, a couple
have writing on the covers, but no tears ...
The one that is defective is the All-Time
Favorites Spring 2001 - a small corner is torn
off the top cover, and the page with the picture
of "Over By the Pond" is missing (pages 19/20)
but all the directions are there.
Anybody here want these? Please email me off list.
Mickie

Mickie: Some of us were hoping to help Kate (of Mississippi) when
se reestablishes a home. She lost everything in the Hurricane.
You might want to save a few issues for Kate, if you have space
to store. OR you might want to pass these on now, to keep your
organization projects going. Just a thought. PAT

Pat, thanks for suggesting this, it's a great idea. I will go ahead
and send these (waiting for hear a reply from the first requestor)
as they are from the first area I've organized. I have plenty of
other
quilt magazines in other places, a couple year's worth that I have to
sort through that will need new homes, so there will be plenty more
Kate when the time comes. ;o)
Mickie
p.s. are there other r.c.t.q.'ers that have been devistated like Kate?

Let me know too, when the time is right. I have some good stuff I
could send her that I was going to put on Ebay or Amazon. Just as soon
send them to RCTQ'er. Thanks for the suggestion.

Is anybody keeping track of the things that have been offered to Kate?
I wonder because I have set aside a few books to send to her when she is
ready. It suddenly occurred to me that she might not want to have to
deal with multiple copies of books or magazines, etc. if several of us
are doing that.

Just curious.

Do we even have a place to send them to? I've got several things on my
sewing table that I plan to send as soon as I have an address.

I hardly ever respond to anything coming in from 'sewgirls' because we never
know if it was originally posted in 2009 or 1742. That said, I surely miss
our Mickey. I'm so happy to see that part of the post was from someone who
wanted the duplicate magazines. Lots of my NewBorn in Need quilts have been
inspired by Mickey's talent and choices. She's gotten me cranked up and
eager to begin another one when enthusiasm failed me. Surely missing our
Mickey, Polly

Oh, my, that is an old post. Not only Mickie but also Willene (aka
Snigdibbly). Snigs passed away five or six years ago.
I used Mickie's "New Millennium" pattern for my Y2K quilt (which was
made from charmsquares from many RCTQers).
