Howdy!
Nah, I don't sew binding to the front by machine, I do it all by hand;
I'm a hand sewing fiend! I do sew the front side of the
binding first, tho', to make sure it's an even finish; the back is
mostly even. g
Whatever works to get it Finished is the Right Way to do it! ;-D

I know you don't.... I meant "I do like Ragmop in terms of cutting" AND
(then) sew to the front by SM.. etc etc.... )
