Ooops, ran out of all-purpose thread
If the label says "glazed" or something like that, best not to use it in the
machine. The coating comes off sometimes and gunks up the tension disks. Buy an extra spool while you're there. (Some people have a thread collection almost as big as the fabric stash!) Roberta in D "Just Judy" schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... Yeah, that's what happens when you are so busy patting yourself on the back for what's turning out to be quite a pretty patchwork quilt. So, I'm out of the "dual-purpose" 100% cotton thread which I've been using to sew the patches together on the sewing machine. However, I have a brand new spool of "hand quilting thread. Can this be used for the machine sewing portion of work? Please tell me I don't have to make a special trip to the store for a spool of machine thread. Thanks, folks, -- Judy~ http://www.frugalsites.net/911/sept11.html http://www.september11victims.com/se...ctims_list.htm |
