Ouch: OT
Well ouch is what I meant to say, some how a few other colorful words filled
the air. The nerves in my left thumb have started to settle down so that I can grasp something between my thumb and index digit without going into orbit and then yesterday..... I picked up a fairly long board that had a few nails sticking in or out of it. I threw it in the general direction of the scrap bin. Instead of going into the bin it bounced back and one of the nails went through my right arm just behind the wrist. Pulled the board and nail off arm - more colorful words like gosh darn it! The nail was about 2 inches long and very rusty so it was off to a medical clinic for a tetanus shot, some anti-biotics and a cooling off period! The swelling is directly proportional to my disposition. At the moment I am not a happy camper, stitcher or cabinet maker!! Fred http://www.stitchaway.com If nothing changes, nothing changes. Don't back stitch to email, just stitchit. |

Having had a major problem with my hands cramping if I try to pick up anything heavier then a slice of bread, and not being able to do more then a few stitches at a time without a serious problem, you have my deepest sympathy and wishes for a very quick, very successful recovery. |

Ummm, take long walks or something to use up that cabinetmaking-stitching energy! Ellice |

Hey Fred, is this just a natural talent you have or did you need to
practice for a bit first? Glad to hear you got the tetANUS shot -- ya suppose they call it that for a reason (r&d&h)? Ouch indeed--hope you are healed up soon. Dawne |

Fred http://www.stitchaway.com If nothing changes, nothing changes. Don't back stitch to email, just stitchit. VBS -- I know that but just think about it. Which part of your brain were you using when you did that? It certainly wasn't the part in your head but most likely the one in your nether regions. AS for the missing cookies, what type of cookies does your good friend Bud Weiser prefer? Perchance the kind with the funny twisted shape and salt all over the top would be best. And where was Casey (I must apologize -- I'm not sure this is the new doggies name -- BAD Tia) during all of this? You should have let him lick the boo-boo -- dog spit has magical healing powers, ya know!! (((Fred))) I'm glad that you are doing better and the puncture (did it let any of your hot air out?) is healing properly.
